The Times & Sunday Times have unveiled their list of 100 Best Places to Stay in the UK. Every year their experts visit hundreds of properties the length and breadth of the UK, on the look out for interesting openings and established hotels reinventing themselves. Every property on the list has been personally tested by their journalists, who are on the look out to make sure interiors are up to scratch, the facilities live up to the marketing promises and the food is, of course, delicious. They seek out properties with character but all on the list must also represent value for money.
From characterful pubs to sophisticated city addresses, and from busy beach resorts to romantic retreats everything is taken into account. That’s why we are delighted to be number 3 on the list of 100 Best Places to Stay in the UK. As well as being honoured as the North Hotel of the Year and Countryside Hotel of the Year. A great achievement since reopening towards the end of last year.
